Details:
With a Gibbous Moon nearby and some high thin clouds, the coma of Lovejoy was able to pierce those obstacles and was easily visible in binoculars. This is an image recorded through a Stellarvue 102ED telescope using a Canon XS DSLR. A stack of 7x60second images at ISO1600 was executed using ImagesPlus and further processed with PS5.
