Details:
Only the light pollution was worse than the 3 degree Celsius outside (a rare extreme for Lisbon). Nevertheless I went out to spot Lovejoy with my 10x50 binoculars and shoot 4 photos. To compensate for the bad conditions offered by the urban skies, I tried to make the best in post-processing: removed CCD noise, subtracted uneven background, individually centred and rotated the four frames before stacking, and normalized the intensity so that Rigel become saturated).
