I am back in the Arctic! Today I arrived around 1PM (local time) in Ivalo, Finnish ‪‎Lapland‬. I will stay there for 3 weeks with the usual goal of photographing the ‪Aurora‬ as often as possible! The first few hours that I spent here up north were awful with a big snow storm. The weather forecast for the evening looked more positive but kept changing and showed only small areas where the sky would clear up partially. I decided to head first to the area of Karasjok, in ‪Finnmark‬, Northern ‪Norway‬. I was soon rewarded by my favorite "Green Lady" making a short but graceful appearance through the clouds Unfortunately it covered up pretty quickly and there was no point in staying there so I decided to drive back "home" in Kaamanen (Finland). There surprisingly the sky cleared just a few minutes, which were long enough to take the second photo with the purple fringe.
