Details:
This is a composite of 21 60-second luminance exposures with an SBIG STL-11000M and Takahashi FSQ Apochromat Astrograph (f/5.0). The frame is a little less than 4 degrees across. I think the only 6th-magnitude star in the image is Nu1 Columbae in the upper left corner. M79 is out of the frame to the lower right.
