Details:
Despite 1st quarter moonlight, Comet Lovejoy was able to be captured as it moved past M79 (loose globular cluster). Nikon d7100, Nikkor 180mm F/2.8 lens, iso 1600, 10x60s, F3.5. Temperature +18F. More images can be viewed at: http://www.astrobin.com/users/NightSky/ . Next opportunity to photograph and view Lovejoy will be in about 10 days after full moon and winter storms pass through my area.
