Details:
Tonight Comet Lovejoy is passing very close to the open globular star cluster M79. This is a simple full frame, 30 second exposure, straight out of the Nikon D600, at ISO6400, in the prime focus of a 10" RCOS reflector, f/9, 2300 mm focal length.
