Comet Lovejoy photographed through VERY frustrating gaps in cloud late last night from Windermere in the Lake District, Cumbria, England. All images take with Canon 1100D DSLR on a tripod, 3200 ISO, 4s f2.2 (or thereabouts) and then enhanced/cropped afterwards.

Great photograph ! I have just seen it in 11x80 binoculars from Castleford after trying for several nights to locate the comet as it is extremely low in the south due to buildings. estimated mag 5.1 very diffuse no tail visible.
