Details:
Here is the latest shot of comet C/2014 Q2 Lovejoy, now low in the south in Columba taken a few nights back. Note in this 7 degree tall field composed of a two part panorama that the tail is nearly the full field of view! And the large detached section of tail is moving rapidly down the tail, now at the top of the image. A rare capture indeed. Data: 80mm f/4.6 Stellarvue SV80 36 minutes total exposure time two part composite with ST10xme CCD Payson,Az
