Details:
Here is a lucky shot of a very promising comet C2014/Q2 (Lovejoy) captured early this morning from the tropics (east coast of Peninsula Malaysia - 0404UT (21 December)). The comet was very easily seen through binoculars of finderscope, and through a small telescope, looked like a globular cluster but very faint tail. This shot was taken when it was at an altitude of 38 degrees, and amidst heavy passing clouds. Officina Stellare Veloce RH200 - QSI683WSG (2min x 5 luminance exposures)
