Going through a stack of images of M31 taken last night I noticed this meteor trail. This was the 2nd of 3 bright meteors that came directly over head between 10:15pm and 20:25pm on December 13th. A single 90 second exposure taken with an Explore Scientific ED80 at ISO 1600.

This does not look like a meteor train, as it is strongly curved for the distance of the mere three degrees it is visible in this shot. Nice pic of Andromeda, though!

If this were a meteor trail and it was a wide as M31 is , it would have been as large as the full moon and much more obvious than described in the caption. Unless there is EXIF data provided, it is hard to decide whether this is real or just a swipe with a Photoshop brush.
