Another great night in Abisko! Tonight as I was preparing the fire for an aurora photo tour I noticed that the snow outside of our Sami hut had started to glow green. I immediately ran outside and discovered that one of the most beautiful aurora displays I had ever seen was dancing overhead. For almost five minutes an amazing glow of fast moving pink auroras streaked across the sky. I have been photographing the northern lights for years and I can honestly say that this was the brightest pink aurora I have ever seen. What a season!
