Details:
At 0300 hr here in northern Alaska I went out to film the moon that had a slight corona and a very bright parhelion on one side. After being out filming the moon all the thicker clouds departed and only a few high wispy clouds were left when we were also engulfed in thin freezing mist. When this happend the moon took on a whole new set of phenomena. Centered around the moon was a bright 22 degree halo with bright lunar parhelia with a very bright parhelic circle running through the middle of the moon. There also was a tangent arc, a bright circumzenithal arc as well as a faint 46 degree halo or perhaps this halo was a supralateral arc. It was hard to tell but I thought this object wasn't touching the CZA which would make it a 46 degree halo, either way it was a lovely sight. Temperature was -7F with 10 knots of wind so one needed to be bundled up to enjoy the view.
