Another awesome aurora night is over. I headed out tonight with no expectations, really. Low activity, and quite hazy / cloudy, as well. So I went to several different locations while there was no activity. On my way home, I saw a few signs that put me on alert. So I pulled over by a frozen lake. And yes, all of a sudden the sky exploded. And the clouds also disappeared. leaving the sky bright and clear. And with the moonlight lighting up the landscape it was quite perfect. I also got a nice panorama, stitched together by 6 vertical photos. vesteraling@gmail.com or more photos here: http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/frank-olsen.html
