Hello Tony I was in northern Norway last week with the Sony A7s in video mode and we had 3 fantastic auroral nights with an incredible variety of shapes and behaviors. At moments they were so fast that 25 fps was not too much! The second evening they were so bright that they appeared while the sky was still blue and I rushed to setup the tripod. Usually we see auroras in still images or time-lapses, those movies show their true rhythm in addition with twinkling stars and trees moving in the wind. The short Full-HD movie (8 min): http://www.youtube.c...h?v=adCVRmDYAqI The long one (20 min) with more and longer sequences: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=yid-QfIhHrY
