Details:
The sky was extraordinarily clear this afternoon, so I was hopeful for something. The sun didn't "pancake" at all but the last little bit flashed green and then went blue. In the image it looks like there's some purple too. The image is cropped, but has no outside-the-camera exposure or color adjustments.
Nikon D90, f/8, 1/200, ISO 200, Nikkor 18-105mm lens at 105 & circular polarizing filter.
