Details:
Beautiful partial solar eclipse started in the clear afternoon sky above Cleveland, Ohio. The giant sunspot AR2192 was easily visible through all sizes of telescopes and through the viewfinder of my camera. A cloud layer on the horizon prevented us from seeing the actual sunset. Shot with Nikon D4 on a tripod, 70-200mm lens at 135mm, sun images through Thousand Oaks Optical polymer filter, foreground scene without filter. 10 images of the sun taken 4 minutes apart.
