Details:
The Aurora has been active and visible with the naked eye almost every night for the past 3 weeks here in Finnmark, Northern Norway. It's been a wonderful Autumn in fact, and the weather conditions have been favourable too. Tonight was no exception and although there were a few clouds floating about they didn't obscure our observation of the "Tricky Lady". I was also extremely fortunate to have managed to capture images of both an aircraft and a meteor passing at the same time, which was quite a sight. I used a Canon 5D Mk. 3 camera and Carl Zeiss 21mm f/2.8 lens to capture these pictures. ISO was set to 20 and shutter speed to 10 seconds.
