Thanks Spaceweather for the heads up and the text alert. This was a lovely Solar Sector Boundary Crossing, which happened to coincide with a perfectly clear and still evening here in Tananger, Norway. While the town slept, I headed to the beach and took this shot. It was a pretty but short display of the Northern Lights, which started just after midnight and lasted about 20 minutes.
