Details:
During the October 8, 2014 total lunar eclipse, the distant planet Uranus appeared less than one degree from the totally eclipsed moon, but considerably farther away. Here's an image I shot at mid-eclipse and annotated to show the incredibly different distances of some of the celestial objects there.
