Details:
I traveled north from SE Michigan near Monroe toward Michigan's Upper Peninsula at the end of August in hopes of capturing some aurora and other nature shots. The outlook for auroras was low forecasts were no higher then perhaps Kp3 or 4. I fought cloud cover off and on for the 5 or 6 days I was on vacation. On August 28th I stopped at the Straits of Mackinac for the night hoping to get some shots of the bridge and auroras over it. I gave up on that idea and headed west of the bridge to McGulpin Point where I waited for a couple hours about to give up I noticed a glow starting to the N and NW of the bridge. Things picked up and I was able to capture a number of shots as the aurora danced for about an hour over the Upper Peninsula during the early hours on the 29th of August. Sorry for the delay in posting.

The Photo with the Bridge in it must have been taken from the East side of the Bridge and not at McGulpin Point. Correct?

Yes it was taken from the East side in Mackinaw City after I left McGulpin Point. I do have some from the West side but my lens shows some issues with coma so I will not post those images.
