Details:
The two M-class solar flares on Oct. 2 were picked up on my VLF receiver as Sudden Ionospheric Disturbances (SIDS). The transmitting stations were in Hawaii and Cutler Maine.
Notice how each plot shows different characteristics in the VLF signals at the time of the flares...
