The above images are some reworked versions of the earlier submitted image of the AR2172-2173 complex, but also some newly processed image showing the same groups and also AR2177. There is a large panoply of sunspot types on the Sun these days. A joy to watch!
TS APO 115mm F/7, TeleVue 2x and 2.5x Powermates for the narrow view of AR2172-2173 region, and only the 2.5x Powermate for the rest of the images, Baader Astrosolar ND 3.8 filter, ASI120MM with Baader Green CCD filter. Seeing 3-4/10.
