Details:
Now that Orion is rising late in the morning, it is spectacular, as usual! Here is a fully corrected stack of M42, the Orion Nebula, from early this morning. 10" RCOS reflector, Nikon D600 (modified for better red performance), full frame, ISO3200, 46 exposures stacked (23 minutes worth), at f7 and 1750 mm focal length. Autoguiding the Titan Gemini-1 mount on a nearby star in modest winds (5mph), about 2 AM, 9/21/2014.
