Details:
After a few days of rain, sleet and snow the skies finally cleared up this evening and we were treated to this beautiful display of Aurora here at 70º North, Finnmark, Norway. Over the course of the past 8 days we've seen Northern Lights 6 times, and two of these were magnificent - fast moving and bright and vivid colours. Although tonight's display was quite as strong it was still beautiful to observe, as indeed was the night sky in general. Equipment - Canon 5D Mk 3 and Carl Zeiss 21mm f/2.8 lens. ISO set at 1000. Shutter speed 10 - 15 seconds.
