My wife Teresa & I enjoy the sunset over the Pacific often and figured that during the extreme heatwave that his L.A. that there might be some atmospheric optical madness....We saw the green flash but ALSO caught sunspot # 2158 - first on 9/7/14 and again 4 days later on 9/11/14. Note the four day movement of 2158 across the Sun's face! Killer!
