Details:
I was out photographing the sun and noticed a rather photogenic sunspot group rotating into view. I hope it's solar storm-inducing! Captured using a Nikon D5100 in movie mode. 700 video frames, conversion from *.MOV to *.AVI done through Autostakkert!2 and the ffmpeg conversion utility. Frames aligned and stacked in Autostakkert!2, and then the output *.PNG post-processed in Adobe Photoshop CS6 / Lightroom 5.5. Telescope used: 10-inch Meade LX200 with a custom solar filter and barlow magnifier.
