Details:
This image of Comet Jacques (C/2014 E2) was acquired on the morning of 2014-Aug-28 between 5:04 - 6:36 UTC from Hampton, Virginia, USA. The total exposure length is nearly 30 minutes in duration, with 39 x 45 second subframes at ISO3200. Based on the comet’s movement during this time, it traveled at approximately 9”/min, necessitating short exposure lengths and high ISO to prevent streaking (though it still streaked).
