solar halo at around 11am from south london uk.
canon 700D camera with 8mm fish eye lens. ISO 100 1/1600s at f/16. Produced by high altitude ice crystals left behind by airplanes. Lower cumulus clouds give a 3d impression. Note the darker sky limited by the halo.
