Details:
Probably the best showing of auroras that I've witnessed so far since the beginning of the year. Nice calm, cool, moonless night. Headed out with my gear at around 11:00 pm EDT (Aug. 27, 2014), and returned home around 4:00 am Aug. 2014, when the best of the show seemed to be over. Shot with Pentax K-5 with 10-17mm fisheye lens set to 10mm, f/3.5, ISO 3200. Shutter speeds for these images ranged from 10 to 46 seconds.
