Comet Jacques C/2014 E2
Taken by Larry McNish on August 27, 2014 @ Images were taken at the Rothney Astrophysical Observatory near Calgary, Alberta. Canon 60D at the prime focus of a Celestron NexStar 8 telescope. ISO 4000, 2 minutes each, auto-guided. The comet nucleus is elongated due to its motion within the two minute exposures.
