Details:
Here is a rough timeapse of Venus's phases throughout 2014. My very first picture of the planet is on February 14 (and is subsequently why I took no photos in January,) while the final photo is on August 15. The Sun is a photo from May 18. Trees on my eastern horizon prevent me from seeing Venus before sunrise now, and Venus is heading into superior conjunction. This is all I can muster until January of next year. Pictures were taken with a multitude of devices; these consist of an Orion XT8 skyquest dob, a vintage Celestron 5, a Celestron Neximage 5, and a modified altair camera for imaging, in no particular combination.
