Details:
There are impressive prominences on the eastern limb this morning but I missed a large eruption. Some 40 minutes after this photo was taken, there had been a large eruption off the eastern limb close to AR2151. There was a very, very long, thin straight plume that shot off the limb. Half an hour later, you could only see a small bright spot about half the sun's diameter off the limb, all that remained of the eruption.

Solarmax 60II f/6.6, Canon XTi ISO 800, surface 1/800 sec. prominences 1/250 sec. East and West are reversed.

The surface and prominence shots are 5 layer stacks. Treated with Lynkeos' Lucy-Richardson algorithm and Photoshop for stacking, montage and colour.
