Details:
The photos show Mercury at dusk. It was hovering amidst high clouds 5.9° above the western horizon and its angular distance to the Sun was only 11.9°. Unnoticed to the naked eye, it was captured by the powerful zoom of a Sony DSC-HX300 camera at 21:01 UTC.
