Details:
Date: 25th June 2014 Time: 2312 GMT Transparency: 7/10 Seeing: 5/10 Equipment: Celestron 8” F10 Edge HD with x2.5 Powermate Camera: ASI120mm with IR Pass 680nm filter and colour created with Baader LRGB filters Processed with Autostakkert2, Registax 6 and Noiseware. First attempts at RGB imaging with a mono camera. Previously I had only used a one shot colour camera for imaging. Despite poor atmospherics and low altitude of Saturn (and being only 2 degrees above the roof tops opposite) and a new camera to get to grips with I was pretty happy with the result. There are even signs of the polar hexagon.
