Details:
During this mornings Venus-Jupiter Conjuction +1 day, a jetplane contrail slowly moved over Venus in the pre-dawn light. Jupiter in upper right. I was reminded of the famous 1990 Voyager 1 image of Earth floating in space, semingly suspended in a mote of orbital dust. I recalled the wonderous and moving words of Carl Sagan's "Pale Blue Dot" speech of May 11, 1996. A quiet moment of astronomical observation linking me to a great astronomer and thinker. Thanks Carl. Another great morning looking out to the Universe!
