Details:
i am sending a study i made on my image of may comparing the results i had from my image, regarding the Menealus domes, and the results obtained using the GLD 100 dataset.
My image was taken with a Mak Cassegrain 18 cm and the resolution is limited, while the WAC imagery and the results ontained using GLD100 dataset have high resolution.
The Menelaus region is located near the southern border of Mare Serenitatis.
I have obtained heigths and 3D reconstruction of two domes by GLD100 dataset while from my image i have obtained the heigths and 3D view using a mathematic approach: the photoclinometry and Shade from shading.
Two results are the same and further confirmation of the good work done in the past including our measurements by GLR group.
A small telescope against the LROC probe.
The Menelaus domes are indeed bisected by a rille.
Milions of euro against a thousand euro.
