With the planetary conjunction of Venus and Jupiter quickly approaching, I thought it might be interesting to repost this from the triple conjunction (Jupiter, Venus, Mercury) in 2013. Below is the original Spaceweather post: "...Here are the planets Jupiter, Venus, and Mercury on the evenings of 24 May, 25 May, and 26 May. In this 3-image composite Jupiter is held fixed and the daily motion of Venus and Mercury are shown relative to the planet Jupiter..."
