Details:
I operate a meteor detection camera in central Arkansas. The following graph is the nightly meteor rates for the past month. Even with the Moon's interference, you can clearly see the slow rise and quick drop off due to the Perseid Meteor Shower. The gaps are due to cloudy nights.
