This image is a stacked composite of 102 exposures, taken from 1:23-2:20 AM CDT looking north from near Marion, Iowa on August 13, 2014. The moon's glare hid all but the brightest of streaks in otherwise ideal conditions. Each (30 second) exposure was shot at f/3.5, 320 ISO and 18mm focal length. Nikon D5000 DSLR.
