Details:
It was one of the most beautiful displays of noctilucent clouds I've seen. And it was the 23rd appearance of nlcs this year in Kiel. In the end they were visible to about 20 degrees above the southern (!) horizon, they were almost everywhere in the sky, clearly visible to the naked eye and quite bright in the northern sky hemisphere.
