Details:
On Thursday night an expansive display of noctilucent clouds showed up over the Edmonton area in evening twilight. Under a dusk sky still bright, the NLC covered a wide area, with multiple zones of billows. In one localized area there was a fantastic array of intricate waves. The display lasted all night, but by morning twilight was only a fraction of the size of the original display. Sony A65 camera, ISO 400, 50mm and ~100mm telephoto, safety glasses!
