These NLC's were unmistakable I've often thought that we have these in North Dakota but now I know for a fact we do. I've seen them at least tens of times. I love how they just glowed well after the sun already set, sitting above the horizon it was like they were just floating around aimesly

And youre quite South for such viewing : only 46° 50 North...

I have seen NLCs only one time in my life, in 2009, here in Paris, France (48° 50 N). And then, it was considered as surprisingly South !
