Details:

The images shown display a prominence cascade running over and around the limb. Taken June 22, 2014 (last Sunday)from my Observatory in Ontario Canada Employed a Meade 102ED (4 inch objective refractor), with a Coronado Solar Max 60 Hydrogen Alpha Filter plus a PST MOD (Personal Solar Telescope) Etalon removed from the PST and inserted up into the optical path of the larger refractor - creating a double filter. Imaged with a new Skyris 247 camera in monochrome, and colored in Photo Shop.

As the author of the two images, my comment is that if you intend to extract the Etalon from a Personal Solar Telescope (PST made by Coronado)be aware the threads on both ends of the Etalon are ancient 25 pitch which very few machinists possess. The difficulty in re-mounting the Etalon to a larger telescope lies therein. But, if successful, your images will improve dramatically. Also, be aware that monkeying with solar filters can be dangerous to the eye.
