Details:
Living in Northeast Ohio, clear skies this time of year are rare. When the Sun popped out Friday morning I decided to take a look. The prominence on the rim looked interesting, so I took a closer look using a 2X barlow to zoom in. The 4 zoomed images were from movies taken at 3 minute intervals. Images were taken through a Televue 101 IS, with double stacked Coronado filters. The camera was a Point Grey Grasshopper Express. Each image is created by stacking the best of 400 frames.
