Details:
There was a large eruption on the eastern limb this morning. At one point, the ejected mass had the form of a bunch of smoke rings locked together. My times on the photos, except the last at 15:44 UTC are approximative at best. Camera trouble meant I lost the precise times but also forced me to make a series of shots so I could record the progression of the eruption.

Solarmax 60II f/6.6, Canon XTi ISO 800, surface 1/800 sec. prominences 1/250 sec. East and West are reversed.

The surface and prominence shots are 5 layer stacks. Treated with Lynkeos' Lucy-Richardson algorithm and Photoshop for stacking, montage and colour.
