Details:
The CME impacted earth ~2UTC (8PM MDT). Around 9:50pm, it was dark enough for the aurora to be photographed on the northern horizon as a dim greenish band. ~10:15PM, rays started to develop and by 10:50PM, rays reached 40 degrees above the northern horizon.
