Details:
Finally, after quite a calm start into the season we got an amazingly bright display of noctilucent clouds over Berlin. They first appeared a bit before local midnight but were brightest in the early morning hours, showing beautiful gravity wave patterns particularly at their southwestern edges. Unfortunately, it's yet another example of them shining the brightest in the early morning hours but with a significant heatwave going on in central and southwestern Europe, at least some sleepless nights can be enjoyed by watching the night sky.
