Details:
A wonderful pairing of the Moon and Venus this afternoon. I loved watching it disappear. It took a second unlike stars which are more instantaneous. This photo is of Venus emerging from the bright limb of the Moon. Taken with the Nikon D750 DSLR in the 12" Skywatcher Dob - untracked. I had an ultra high contrast light pollution filter on the adapter from deep sky, so went with that. I was moving it by hand but it was bright enough to still give a clear shot. Super fun!
