Details:
Comet C/2025 R3 PANSTARRS is still in great shape! Thanks to the lack of the Moon and its greater altitude above the horizon, the comet appears brighter and more detailed than in the past days. I don't know if the increased brightness is only due to the improved observing conditions, I guess it is, but its activity certainly continues to be intense, perhaps more than in the past few days. This collage of images shows its evolution from May 2 to May 6. It's a work in progress: I hope to continue following its evolution in the coming days. In the May 6 image, we can also see a portion of the Witch Head Nebula, crossed by the comet's tail. Too bad I did not have a larger FOV.
