Details:
Gif animation composed of 25 images each 10 seconds long of Comet C/2025 R3 (PANSTARRS) rising over the Catalina Mountains north of Tucson on the morning of April 16 at an altitude of 4 degrees. The comet was magnitude 4.9 and a mosaic created later showed 10 degrees of the tail which was longer than 10 degrees. The atmospheric interference at this low altitude and the short 10 second images taken with a small 50mm f/5 Refractor did not show the tail very well in this gif animation.
